AM BREAD BAKER
START DATE: Open immediately/ideally by August 17
HOURS: Thurs 4-12, Fri 3-11, Sat 3-11, Sun 4-12, Mon 4-12 (40 hrs/week)
PAY: $19-$23/hour DOE
ROLE & REQUIREMENTS: We are seeking an experienced and/or eager-to-learn individual to manage the morning shift of the bake cycle in our wood-fired oven, as well as a variety of bakery tasks. Must be able to lift 50lb flour bags, build and maintain a fire in our four-deck bread oven/manage pellets . You will bake a wide variety of breads, and learn the intricacies of maintaining heat in the oven while managing multiple breads and decks at once. Professional kitchen experience and knowledge of food service industry practices and standards is preferred. Prior baking experience is a plus, but not required. We will provide training on all aspects of this position.

This position will assist in a variety of bakery tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Baking cinnamon buns, baguettes, bialys, hearth loaves, and sandwich breads

  • Sweeping out/wiping down the oven and surrounding area, and keeping oven area organized

  • Building and maintaining a fire, and/or loading 40lb pellet bags into oven hopper depending on the firing method

  • Scraping dough/flour off of baking linens

  • Cleaning bread pans

  • Assisting in receiving deliveries and putting ingredients and other goods away

PRESCALE/CLOSER
START DATE: August 15, 2025
HOURS: Wednesday - Saturday, 2-6pm and Sunday, 3-5pm (22 hours)
PAY: $17.50 - $21/hr DOE
ROLE & REQUIREMENTS: We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, and eager-to-learn individual to manage our end of day bakery tasks. This position will be responsible for accurately and efficiently scaling flour and other prepped ingredients for our morning mixes. Must be able to lift 50lb flour bags and have an eye for organization.

This position will assist in a variety of bakery tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Scaling flour for morning mixes

  • Mixing / cooking various add-ins for our sourdough breads

  • Tidying the mix room and resetting for the morning mix

  • Cleaning bread linens

  • Packing up bread for wholesale deliveries and donations

  • Cleaning bread pans

  • Light dish work

  • Ensuring all bakery work spaces are cleaned and ready for morning work

FRONT OF HOUSE/RETAIL ASSOCIATES
START DATE: August 21, 2025
HOURS:
PT hours available Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday. Start times vary between 6:30am - 10:30am.
PAY:
$17-20 DOE
ROLE & REQUIREMENTS: We are seeking energetic, friendly, food-loving individuals to staff our retail counter. Duties include:

  • Creating a welcoming, clean and organized environment for all customers.

  • Facilitating all aspects of customer-related front of house work, including answering questions (in person and by phone), updating menu boards, stocking bread and grocery shelves, and filling orders.

  • Operating the cash register and handling cash & card transactions accurately using Square system.

  • Maintaining and clean and organized work space.

  • Implementing food safety regulations and ensuring compliance with health codes.

  • Assisting with food preparation and handling as needed (wrapping sandwiches, bagging baked goods, serving soups, etc).

  • Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient operations.

  • Brewing and serving drip coffee. Previous coffee and retail experience is a plus!

  • Handling general bakery tasks as instructed by our front of house manager and owners.
